AFADP

Today was the Air Force Appreciation Day Parade. As we all know it landed on a day that will live on in our hearts forever 9/11! Seeing all the military personnel and their families reminds me of how many sacrifices are given up each day to keep us safe. They had floats full of pictures of the fallen soldiers and you couldn't help but stop and say a little prayer for them and their families, knowing  you are standing there enjoying such a wonderful day. I guess that is what they were fighting for! I know it is easy to take things in life for granted and it is the little moments like today that make you realize just how blessed we all are. Let's remember all the lives that were lost on that horrifc day and all the ones that have been lost since!

On another note, Noah had so much fun getting candy and watching all the floats.Nick taught him "elbows out" when going for the candy=) Funny thing is I am pretty sure I seen Nick throw a couple of elbows himself. He was letting those kids know who was boss!!  After the parade we went down to the park and he played to his little hearts content. He was so tuckered out on the way home I looked in the backseat to find him passed out with a corn dog in his hands. Not to brag but I think I have a pretty amazing kid but then again I could be a little bias<3

Tonight was HOG football! After getting the family all geared up in our cardinal and white we watched the Razorbacks go for their second win this season, which they completely accomplished. I love our family football Saturdays and hope it is something we will share for many years to come. Making traditions are very important and gives our kids something they can pass down to their family later on in life! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
